Vyapo: one marketplace for textile manufacturers, wholesalers and retailers

We built Vyapo for web, Android and iOS, a role-based B2B and B2C textile marketplace with storefronts, virtual inventory, negotiated pricing, parcel tracking and payments, from a three-week UI/UX sign-off to a full-scale product in two phases.

Project overview

Vishwalata Ventures, founded by Mr. Vikas Bhakule, asked us to digitize the multi-tier trade ecosystem of the textile and apparel industry.

Vyapo is a web platform and mobile app that acts as a central marketplace for manufacturers, distributors, wholesalers, retailers and end consumers, supporting B2B and B2C trade in one place. Each stakeholder runs a storefront, maintains catalogues, places orders, tracks parcels and pays securely, while the platform earns a commission on the trade value it facilitates.

About the client

Vikas Bhakule has more than ten years of hands-on experience in textile trading and wholesale. Having seen the inefficiencies, communication gaps and lack of transparency in traditional supply chains, he founded Vishwalata Ventures to modernize how textile trade is done across India.

Based in Paratwada, Amravati, a region with deep roots in textile commerce, he brings a strong network across the supply chain and a clear goal: bring every stakeholder onto one digital platform with transparent pricing and a simpler purchase journey.

The challenge

What needed solving

  1. 01

    Multi-party commerce

B2B and B2C buyers across many roles, each with different access, pricing and buying behaviour.

  2. 02

    Who sees what

A careful permission model, since manufacturers can have exclusive networks of registered buyers.

  3. 03

    Negotiated prices

Prices are not uniform; negotiated deals had to be recorded to track trade value accurately.

  4. 04

    Commission tracking

Revenue is a commission on total trade value, so every transaction had to be monitored precisely.

  5. 05

    Parcel visibility

Real-time order and shipment tracking across a multi-tier supply chain.

What the client asked for

  • UI/UX in 3 weeksEnd-to-end design for every role, flow and screen, signed off by week three.
  • MVP in 2 monthsA working web platform and mobile app, tested and QA approved.
  • Full product afterDistributor workflows, admin document verification and advertisements in Phase 2.
  • 5-role access controlManufacturer, distributor, wholesaler, retailer and end consumer, each with defined permissions.
  • Web, Android and iOSA consistent product across all three platforms from MVP launch.
Our approach

How we built it

Vyapo needed more than a typical online store. We began by mapping the client's business model, stakeholder relationships and the flow of goods and payments across the textile supply chain.

Our architects designed for multi-tenancy, secure transactions and role-based access on AWS. Designers created distinct but consistent interfaces for each stakeholder, and the UI/UX was finished in three weeks.

Phase 1 delivered merchant registration, products, virtual inventory, storefronts, catalogue feeds, ratings, reviews and parcel tracking. Phase 2 added distributor requests, admin document verification and homepage advertisements.

A virtual inventory lets manufacturers make stock available down the chain before it physically arrives. Easebuzz handles payments, JioCX and Msg91 send SMS, and UltraMsg powers WhatsApp messages.

The client was still refining the concept with stakeholders across the supply chain, so requirements evolved during the build. We turned that evolving vision into clear, actionable specifications as we went.

When I approached the team with my vision for Vyapo, I needed a technology partner who could understand the complexities of the textile trade and translate them into a practical digital solution. The team took the time to understand my business requirements, maintained transparent communication throughout the engagement, and delivered a product that aligned with my vision. I particularly appreciated their structured approach, attention to UI/UX and backend architecture, and transparency in costs and project progress. My concerns were addressed professionally, and I always felt informed throughout the development process. Vyapo represents an important step toward realising my vision of modernising textile trade, and I am proud of what we have built together.
