Project overview
NEFFY is an intelligent exam preparation platform that helps students prepare for competitive exams such as JEE and NEET through mock tests, practice questions and performance tracking.
It combines digital assessment, AI-driven practice and analytics so students can find knowledge gaps, revise in a targeted way and make better decisions about how they prepare.
About the client
Santhanu Bose founded NEFFY with his friend Ritesh Jha to build an education platform for exam practice. The idea grew out of the classroom: educator Aindrila Bose runs offline coaching for NEET and JEE students, and her experience of what students need shaped the product.
NEFFY extends exam preparation beyond the physical classroom, giving students a place to keep practising wherever they are.
What needed solving
- 01
Practice stopped at the classroom door
Offline coaching made it hard to give students consistent practice and assessment outside class hours.
- 02
Manual evaluation
Checking tests by hand slowed feedback, so students waited to learn where they stood.
- 03
No clear picture of weak areas
Students lacked a structured way to see their progress and focus revision where it mattered.
What the client asked for
- One exam platformA unified online home for competitive exam preparation and practice.
- Easy to useAn intuitive interface that gets students to resources quickly.
- Structured practiceA focused environment to practise for NEET and JEE.
- Scalable architectureRoom for new features, more content and a growing student base.
- Learn anywherePractice that is not tied to classroom schedules.
- Coaching know-how, built inThe founders' classroom experience translated into a practical digital product.
How we built it
Over six months, we worked to understand the founders' vision and the real needs of students preparing for NEET and JEE, then turned that into a structured digital practice platform.
Two technical architects shaped the system, a project lead and two business analysts translated requirements into a clear plan, and a dedicated UI/UX designer crafted a calm, student-friendly interface.
Frontend and backend developers built the platform together, with quality assurance running alongside development to keep it reliable for students.
