Tree Coin: a secure, agent-led loan management platform
We replaced paper-based loan handling with a role-based Android and web platform where organizations manage agents and loan products, agents onboard customers and submit applications, and every loan is tracked to approval, delivered in three phases.

Project overview
Tree Coin is a finance service platform that delivers loans through organizations and their field agents. Agents onboard customers and submit loan applications, while the organization manages agents, loan products and approvals.
The platform replaces paper-based loan handling with one role-based digital workflow: onboarding, document upload, application, verification, approval or rejection and status tracking. It was delivered in three phases as a cross-platform Android and web app, and is built to connect later with credit bureaus, banking APIs and analytics.
About the client
Tree Coin follows an agent-led model, with Mr. Nadish Vyas leading the project on the client side. Customers do not sign up themselves. A verified agent, created by the organization, onboards each customer, collects KYC and loan documents, and applies on the customer's behalf.
The vision: make loans accessible through trusted agents while the organization keeps control, compliance and transparency.
What needed solving
- 01
Paper-based loans
Onboarding, KYC checks and document collection were manual, slow and error-prone.
- 02
Little control over agents
Organizations had limited oversight of agent activity, which risked misuse and fraudulent applications.
- 03
Slow approvals
Verifying and approving applications took too long, delaying decisions and disbursement.
- 04
Scattered data
Customer, loan product and application details were spread out, so loan status was hard to track.
- 05
Customers left waiting
Updates on approvals, disbursement and EMI due dates rarely reached customers on time.
What the client asked for
- Role-based platformAdmin and agent logins from one screen. Agents cannot self-register and customers do not log in.
- Agent and customer managementOrganizations create, activate and block agents; agents create customer profiles with ID and photo.
- Loan productsSet up products with interest rate, tenure and eligibility.
- Applications and documentsAgents apply on behalf of customers and upload ID and income proof.
- Approvals and trackingVerification, approval or rejection, disbursement, status and EMI tracking, and reports.
- Security and notificationsRole-based access, AES-256 encryption, RBI Digital Lending Guidelines, SMS and WhatsApp alerts.
How we built it
We worked across three phases between August 2025 and May 2026, each running through requirement gathering, planning, development, testing and deployment. A Business Requirement Document and a Functional Requirement Document defined scope, roles and modules.
Our technical architect also led the project, designing a secure, role-based and scalable foundation. Two business analysts mapped the workflows for login, agent and customer management, loan products and applications.
The designer shaped the login, sign-up, agent and customer onboarding flows. Three Flutter developers built the Android and web apps on Node.js services and a PostgreSQL data layer.
Two QA engineers tested every phase for functionality, role-based access, form validation and reliability, and client feedback after each phase shaped the next one.
